More robust, higher capacity and instant coolant level monitoring

The Evolution Powersports (EVP) high-capacity aluminum expansion tank is a direct replacement for the original plastic reservoir on the 2017+ Can-Am Maverick X3.

Made of welded 5052 and 6061 aluminum, it offers over 20% more volume compared to the OEM tank and incorporates internal baffles to properly manage coolant circulation.

Its large billet aluminum sight glass, equipped with a transparent material resistant to high temperatures and UV rays, allows for quick coolant level checks without having to squint through the plastic of the original reservoir.

👀 Coolant level instantly visible

One of the drawbacks of the original plastic reservoir is that it can become difficult to precisely distinguish the coolant level through its walls.

EVP has therefore integrated a 6061 billet aluminum sight glass directly onto the face of the tank.

The transparent material used is resistant to:

The level must be checked and adjusted with the engine off and at ambient temperature.

The OEM reservoir of the Maverick X3 is made of plastic.

The overflow/breather fitting on the original reservoir is often prone to failure.

The EVP tank replaces this construction with a welded aluminum assembly:

🧩 Integrated internal baffles

It features specially integrated internal baffles to ensure proper coolant circulation.

This design allows for an increase in available volume of over 20% while maintaining the necessary operation for the cooling circuit.

🧪 Pressure tested at 30 PSI

The reservoir is subjected to a pressure and leak test up to 30 PSI, which is approximately:

2.07 bar

This ensures the integrity of the assembly before use.
