Reposition the intercooler to improve cooling and engine access

Evolution Powersports (EVP) intercooler riser brackets allow you to modify the position of the Can-Am Maverick X3 intercooler by raising its rear section by approximately 12.7 cm (5 inches).

This new position exposes the intercooler more to airflow, promotes a reduction in intake temperatures, and simultaneously clears access to the engine compartment. It also completely transforms the rear of the X3 when paired with the EVP bed delete kit.

🌡️ Improved intercooler cooling

On a heavily tuned Maverick X3, managing intake air temperature becomes especially important.

By raising the rear of the intercooler by approximately 5 inches / 12.7 cm, the EVP brackets allow you to change its exposure to airflow and improve its performance.

The improvement in temperatures is particularly significant when these brackets are paired with the EVP X3 Turbo Race intercooler.

The brackets modify the angle of the intercooler by raising its rear section by approximately:

5 inches / 12.7 cm

The intercooler thus adopts a much more aggressive angled position than in the stock configuration.

This modification provides three main advantages:

🏁 Racing configuration with bed delete

⚠️ The EVP bed delete kit is highly recommended.

The riser brackets cannot be installed with the rear bed in its original configuration.

Installation requires the EVP Bed Delete Kit, sold separately, or cutting the bed and removing the original cover. 

It is precisely the combination of the two products that allows for this highly open, competition-oriented rear configuration.

⚙️ Compatible with stock and EVP Turbo Race intercoolers

You do not need to replace the intercooler immediately to install the brackets.

They are compatible with:

✔ All stock Maverick X3 intercoolers

✔ EVP Turbo Race intercoolers

This allows you to carry out the transformation with the OEM intercooler and then upgrade the cooling system later.

For a heavily tuned configuration, pairing with the EVP Turbo Race intercooler allows you to take greater advantage of the new positioning.

The brackets are made of aluminum and feature a black powder-coated finish.

The EVP logo is laser-cut directly into the brackets, providing a finish particularly well-suited to a build where the rear section becomes much more visible after removing the bed.

🛠️ Compatible with the stock cover

The assembly can retain the stock Maverick X3 air filter and coolant reservoir cover.

⚠️ However, slight modifications to the cover are necessary.

This allows you to retain part of the OEM trim while benefiting from the new intercooler position.
