Steering Orbitrol - PSC

The PSC FHV-RR steering orbitrol is designed for full hydraulic steering systems, offering precise control, excellent feedback and exceptional reliability in extreme off-road conditions.

Thanks to its Open Center and Load Reactive design, this valve ensures smooth, natural and progressive steering, both at low speed and under full load.

Open Center (open circuit)

In Open Center configuration, the oil circulates freely in the system when the flywheel is not in use.
This allows:

A reduction in oil temperature

Less wear on the pump

Smoother, more fluid steering at rest

Ideal for off-road vehicles using high-performance pumps.

Load Reactive

The Load Reactive system provides hydraulic feedback to the steering wheel, giving a natural feeling of returning to center when the vehicle is in motion.

The orbitrol's displacement , divided by the steering cylinder's volume , determines the number of steering wheel turns required to turn the axle from lock to lock .
The higher the indicated engine displacement value , the faster the steering will be (fewer steering wheel turns between stops).
