Make your Maverick R's stock intake plenum reliable

The Evolution Powersports (EVP) plenum reinforcement kit was developed to strengthen the Can-Am Maverick R's stock plastic intake plenum and limit the risk of failure under repeated pressure and vacuum cycles.

The stock plenum is made of two plastic parts joined by ultrasonic welding. Over time and under the stress of the turbo engine, this joint area can weaken. The EVP kit mechanically secures the two parts of the plenum to prevent them from separating.

💥 Reinforces the stock plastic plenum

The Maverick R uses a plastic plenum that is constantly subjected to pressure variations generated by the turbo engine.

Successive cycles of boost pressure and vacuum can gradually stress the ultrasonic weld that joins the two parts of the plenum.

The EVP kit adds mechanical support around the plenum to:

✔ Strengthen its assembly
✔ Limit the stress exerted on the stock weld
✔ Prevent the two parts from spreading apart
✔ Reduce the risk of the plenum opening under pressure
✔ Improve the reliability of the intake system

🔩 Kit consisting of 3 reinforcements

The kit includes three distinct reinforcements that surround the main areas of the intake plenum.

They reinforce:

✔ The top part of the plenum
✔ The left side
✔ The right side

This arrangement allows the two halves of the plenum to be held around their perimeter and better distributes the loads.

The three components are made of billet aluminum, offering an excellent compromise between rigidity, strength, and weight.
