This Dobinsons front hydraulic bump stop kit with bolt-on mounts is a major front suspension upgrade for Toyota 80 Series, designed to integrate a true high-performance hydraulic bump stop.

On prepared HDJ80s (lifted, large tires, intensive off-road use), the original bump stops and their mounts quickly reach their limits: violent bottoming out, deformation of the bump stop cups, and structural chassis fatigue.
This kit transforms the stress zone into a reinforced, secure, and high-performance assembly, capable of absorbing impacts in a progressive and controlled manner.

Structural reinforcement of the original coil spring mount

The bolt-on mount is specifically designed to:

• reinforce the original coil spring seat,
• distribute mechanical loads over a larger surface area,
• eliminate the risk of cracks and deformations,
• create a solid anchor point for the hydraulic bump stop.

Unlike conventional mechanical bump stops, the hydraulic bump stop:

• progressively slows down the suspension at the end of travel,
