Replace the filter for your EVP HFI high-flow intake

This Evolution Powersports replacement air filter is intended for EVP HFI high-flow intake kits for Can-Am Maverick X3.

It uses the same filtration system featured in the HFI kits and comes with its hydrophobic pre-filter, allowing you to replace the entire filtration assembly without changing the rest of the intake.

The filter uses a dry paper filtration media, without oil or additives. This design offers excellent filtration capacity while avoiding the clogging issues that some oiled synthetic filters can experience in the presence of sand and dust.

🌬️ HFI high-flow filtration

A high-performance turbo engine requires significant airflow, but also effective filtration.

The HFI filter uses a high-performance paper filtration media designed to trap fine particles while maintaining the airflow required by the turbocharger.

🏜️ Pre-filter included

The filter is delivered with the EVP pre-filter specific to the HFI system.

This acts as a second barrier against sand, dust, and various particles encountered during Off-Road use.

Its woven mesh is capable of trapping dirt and sand particles down to approximately:

0.005" or 0.127 mm

The pre-filter thus limits the amount of contaminants directly reaching the main filter.

💧 Pre-filter with hydrophobic treatment

The pre-filter mesh also receives a hydrophobic treatment to repel water.

This treatment is integrated into the material using a specific process and is not simply sprayed onto its surface.

It adds an extra layer of protection against water while maintaining virtually all available airflow.

🧹 Dry filter: no oiling required

Unlike some performance filters made of cotton or synthetic material, the EVP HFI filter operates entirely dry.

It is therefore not necessary to apply:

⚠️ This is only the filter and its pre-filter. Hoses, fittings, and other components of the HFI intake kit are not included.

🧹 Filter maintenance

Maintenance frequency depends directly on the conditions in which the Maverick X3 is used.

More frequent inspection is necessary when used in:

✔ Dust
✔ Dirt
✔ Gravel
✔ Snow
✔ Group rides in dusty environments

To remove a large accumulation of dust, the paper filter can be tapped gently to release contaminants trapped in the media.

It is also important to regularly inspect the clean side of the filter. Any trace of dust on this part may indicate a leak in the intake system.

In case of deterioration of the filtration media, the filter must be replaced and any potential air leaks must be corrected before installing the new filter.
