Switch from a discreet exhaust to a direct Racing outlet at the flip of a switch

The Evolution Powersports SHOCKER is an electric valve exhaust bypass developed for the 2017+ Can-Am Maverick X3.

Its principle is simple: retain the stock muffler or an aftermarket muffler for more discreet use, while adding an electrically controlled direct side outlet.

With the valve closed, exhaust gases continue their path through the muffler.

With the valve open, gases take the direct SHOCKER side outlet, offering a much more aggressive sound and reducing exhaust restriction.

⚡ Electric Exhaust Valve

The SHOCKER integrates an electric valve that allows the driver or passenger to choose the path taken by the exhaust gases.

🔇 Valve Closed

Gases are directed to:

✔ The stock muffler
or
✔ A compatible aftermarket muffler

The vehicle thus retains the sound corresponding to the installed muffler.

🔥 Valve Open

Gases take the most direct path and are evacuated through the SHOCKER Racing side outlet.

The muffler is then bypassed, which produces a significantly more aggressive sound while reducing exhaust restriction.

🎛️ Control Directly from the Cockpit

The opening and closing of the valve are controlled from the cockpit using a specific switch provided with the kit.

The wiring harness is entirely Plug & Play:

✔ No cutting of the harness
✔ No splicing necessary

➡️ You can therefore change the exhaust behavior directly from the driver's seat.

🔥 Up to +6 hp with the valve open

Opening the bypass reduces the restriction of the exhaust system by allowing gases to exit directly through the side branch.

EVP claims a gain of up to:

with the valve open, depending on the tuning and engine configuration.

⚠️ This is a maximum gain measured/claimed by EVP and not a guaranteed gain for all configurations.

There is no longer a need to choose between a relatively discreet exhaust and a very loud Racing outlet.

Gases pass through your muffler.

Do you want to fully enjoy the 3-cylinder Rotax?

➡️ Open the valve.

Gases are directly evacuated through the Racing side outlet.

🏁 Racing Side Outlet

When the valve is open, the SHOCKER transforms the system into a direct side outlet.

This configuration allows exhaust gases to take the path of least resistance instead of passing through the rear muffler.

The SHOCKER is made of 304 stainless steel with assemblies performed by TIG welding.

⚙️ 2.5" Diameter

The version currently offered by EVP is in:

2.5 inches

This diameter also corresponds to the diameter of the OEM downpipe indicated by EVP. 

➡️ It can therefore be used on a stock engine configuration, even if its benefits naturally increase on a prepared X3.

🔧 Compatible with stock or aftermarket muffler

The SHOCKER is specifically designed to allow you to keep your existing muffler.

It can work with:

When the valve is closed, gases continue through the muffler normally. When the valve opens, it is bypassed in favor of the direct side outlet.
