Improve airflow to the turbo while retaining the original filtration system

The Evolution Powersports (EVP) V-Flow intake kit was developed to eliminate two restrictions found on the stock intake of 2017 to 2019 Can-Am Maverick X3s: the limited-diameter airbox outlet and the accordion-style hose located before the turbocharger.

After extensive dyno testing, the diameter of the stock airbox outlet proved restrictive as the engine's air requirements increase. The accordion shape of the original hose also creates turbulence just before the turbo compressor inlet, which reduces its efficiency.

The V-Flow replaces this outlet with a larger-diameter anodized billet aluminum piece, paired with a smooth-transition silicone hose.

💨 A significantly enlarged airbox outlet

On 2017-2019 Maverick X3s, the air filter box outlet acts as a restriction when the engine demands high airflow.

The V-Flow kit replaces the stock crimped nozzle with a new, larger-diameter outlet machined from anodized billet aluminum.

Flow is not the only important factor: the way air reaches the compressor also influences its efficiency.

The original intake hose has an accordion shape that disrupts airflow just before it enters the turbocharger.

The V-Flow uses a perfectly smooth silicone hose instead, creating a much more consistent transition between the airbox and the turbo.

The air filter and its operation remain identical to stock. Only the part located at the airbox outlet is optimized to increase flow.
